Hello everyone!
I’m writing this listening to a Christmas song compilation because I’m feeling especially festive this year. Currently playing through my speakers is Shakin Stevens’ classic Chrimbo hit, ‘Merry Christmas Everyone’. What a cracker! Sorry.
What have we been up to?
I’ll tell you! We’re currently hard at work, recording our second EP which is already sounding brilliant. It’s being recorded in Maz’s home studio at Wutar Towers. We’ve also crept our way into a few newspapers, our local Bucks Free Press, Leamington’s Courier and The Daily Mirror. VERY DECENT!
Last week I decided it was time we had a Christmas tree in the house, so off to [non-specific supermarket type place] we popped and I got a rather fetching little number for £9 which looks lovely. Maz even gave it a hug at the weekend.
In other news, I got a water pistol inside a cracker on Wutmas Day (this is a holiday exclusive to members of The Wutars and friends. It occurs a few weeks before Christmas) “This’ll be fun!” I thought. So last night I decided to chase Sam around our landing with it, squirting him and giggling like a 10 year old. Five minutes later, we realised why we were too old for these sorts of games and ended up breaking the bottom of his door. Lesson learned? I doubt it.
Anyway, less of all that and more on the music! Unfortunately, we have had to cancel tomorrows gig at The Dublin Castle due to car problems. We don’t like doing it but sometimes it can’t be helped. If anyone with a van fancies doing unpaid roadie work for us we’d love that!
And that just leaves me to wish everyone a Happy Christmas. We loves ya!
